The Jester's Brush

"I've drawn lots of trees, but there's just something super special about the big magnolia tree in our backyard. It's huge and awesome, and I really wanted to make an amazing picture of it. I painted this one on a canvas, but this time I used oil paints instead of regular paint. I was able to put in lots of cool details, like how the trunk of the tree grows right out of the ground, just like the real thing. I also made sure the leaves and branches were super full and green so you could see how big the tree is. I think it turned out really good." - Lucas Jester
